This super-pretty handmade fused glass brooch is made with warm vanilla glass as the base, topped with a hand-cut cool blue glass flower. At the centre is an iridescent teal-green glass cabochon, finished with a tiny dot of sparkly green aventurine.
The vanilla and blue glasses have developed a subtle kiln-formed reaction line around the flower petals, creating a delicate outline that makes the flower even more special. Fused glass is wonderfully glossy and sparkling in person, with colours and textures that are difficult to capture fully in photographs.
